better left unsaid

my head hurts

my heart aches

my eyes are exhausted from producing tears every night

the skin on my face still fresh of salt left as residue from my cries

i try to run the situation time and time again to see where i'm going wrong

what exactly did i do to put me at fault for me to feel so stupid?

yet time and time again

i still find nothing

but i could never blame you

you could never be a name on the list of suspects suspected for the slander of my soul

isn't it crazy how my every thought consists of you

but i've never been a single one in your mind

anyhow

that's stupid

and pathetic, really

because if you were to ever discover just how often i think of you

i'd scare you shitless

because you'll realize to ever discver just exactly how much you mean to me

and how heavy those simply sweet words carried weight

sometimes i wish i can forget about you

but even though i wish for so

i wouldn't be where i am now if it weren't for you

in a lot of ways, you've helped me grow into my current being

this is also one of many things better unsaid to you
