A better life

I was not awarded the proper role model

I saw my girls drop out of high school

They began working blue collar jobs,

Starting families, none strived to go further

I had no one to look up to,

College was not talked about in my family

I made the decision to push past what others thought I was capable of

I had to dedicate myself to get to college.

With immigrant parents and a low income,

I worked hard to percevier

I am an Ap Student with college accptances,

I will not let anything impede with my vicotry this close to my prize.

I will be the first person in my to not only graduate highschool

But to get a college education

The chance at a real career,

The chance at a better life.
