Better than Medicine
Sticks and stones may break my bones
Words will never fail me
When I feel the urge
To start my purge
I let my words ignite me
I strike the match
To watch my ideas hatch
In dead and dim light of the evening
Dance little shadow dance
As I lose all control of my hands
And the I feel the power consume me
It's an itch i'll scratch
Until my bones have surfaced nightly
The light strobes
Jumping all around me
In my robe
I command the shadows
I conquer the demons screaming
I have learned to never conceide
To my loss of sanity
