Better In Memory

From what I remember

This place

Oh happy place

It was my safe haven

Visiting now

It’s so different

Why did my young eyes

See it so much better

It’s just a torn up little town

Nothing as I remember

Years passes and reality seized

But has it really changed at all?

Children see the world

From the view of the biggest optimist

That you have ever met

Ignorant and blissful
