Better Things To Do

Go to school, go to college, get a job and then you can start living your life

But what is all this for?

We spend 12 years in school

Only to go for four more?

Once I finally have a job

I'll have lots of money, right?

And I will have paid off all my debt by then

So why is everyone so uptight?

Pick a college, a career, you can't take a break

But there's so much to explore

The entire world is waiting for us

And it's right outside our door

So here's my idea for all the unsure teens

And I hope it's not too hard to grasp

Why don't we take a break and travel the world

It could be an easy task

I think we've been put on this planet

To do more than just work our whole lives

We have better things to do while we're young

So go and enjoy life!
