A Better Tomorrow

School is a place for students to learn

Students go to gain the education for which they yearn,

But all of this is put to a halt

When it is the teachers who are at fault.

When the passion of the teacher is on a decline stage,

This is what locks student’s potential in a cage.

As a teacher, your students look up to you as a master,

Please don’t make their learning a disaster.

For the more passion each teacher shows,

The more advanced our education grows.

When our education soars up like a kite,

This ensures that the future of tomorrow will be bright.

So to all you teachers out there,

Please show your students how much you care.

Your teaching will greatly impact all of us,

And when you teach with a passion it’s definitely a plus.

All in all, it’s the teacher’s job to end all of the sorrow,

And be the reason for a better tomorrow.

I liked how you explained that if the teachers have more passion in their teaching, it will inspire a better tomorrow. This quote is perfect for all of us high schoolers who actually underestimate our learning and those who teach us. Thank you for sharing your powerful writing, it's very inspirational.

This poem was written because I feel that the teacher’s passion is slowly fading away. With this, I have hopes that I can make at least one teacher rise up and reclaim their passion and push for maximum student potential.
