Better Off Without You
Lies.
All of them.
Every word you say,
Dropping like acid rain
On my heart
Burning a hole straight through
Infecting the point
Where your arrow pierced me
I'm used to the scars now
The pain of seeing your face
Is almost completely concealed
They tell me I'm making a mistake
"She had so much potential"
Like it's past tense
But I think you're the one
Making mistakes
Because only a complete idiot
Messes with my head
Let alone my heart
And you, my friend,
Are a complete idiot.
