In between colors

Of many colors I am combined into one beam of light Patiently waiting under the clouds Until the drizzling stops One color is beautiful brown More than just skin It's my blanket shielding me from the rest of the world Its how I see things One color is ravenous red More than just blood cells Its my past and future It's how I have seen things One color is peculiar pink More than just finger tips It's my connection from ignorance to knowledge Its how I want to see things The last color is brightening Black More than just eye color It's my window to another path
