Beulah

You are the beauty of the wind
The breath of my soul poured out
Awakening the tide to take back Your bride
You won’t relent until every string has been untied

Cut loose

Set free

Like air

Like light

Like ocean

Moving over the waters as in the days of old
When all it was, was You

We exist together, Your hand in mine
And all I will ever need, I have found in You
Severed from pain, the aching of my heart is for Yours
I want to be the friend You have been looking for

To touch this unapproachable light
To dance for You in the temple courts
To hear You laugh in Your delight

This is my dream as I sing in the night

To stand on the shore of eternity
Arms open wide
The cool breath of God stirring on the inside
Foaming and
swirling and
rising and
waking

For You have chosen to dwell in me
And in You I will abide.
