Bewildered Mind

The weave and wind Of a tangled mind With thoughts that sought to confuse him "What is he? What is she? What are you? The one who be?" "Can you answer? Can you tell? Can you envision? The questions to quell?" "Will you try? Dare you venture? Into this web, Will you fly?" Tangled chaos, Clumped mess, What is this? This unkempt tress? Can I answer? Can I tell? Can I envision? How these questions I quell? One by one, These questions I tackle One by one, The answers I find Now the fibers begin to settle, Now the storm begins to cease, Now my mind finds it's peace In a wonderful release Again I look, To that unkempt clump, But search in vain, Instead finding... A beautiful tapestry, A unique portrait, Such an intricate device, Where has this been veiled? Hidden by illusion, Of questions I knew, But the lesson is learned, And now I leave, just a little wiser

I came to write this poem when things happening around me got my head in a knot, but after a little I realized it wasn't quite so complicated. After remembering what I knew and believed, everything straightened out.
