Beyond

Remembering back long ago, escape velocity was very slow.

All the things back home I miss, I look ahead into stardust mist.

Increasing speed to gamma ray, passing thru the Milky Way.

Quantum drive engaged and online, warping space and time.

Ion trail of atomic waste, no stars ahead, just black of space.

Chaotic void of frozen night, eternal sky that sheds no light.

At the boundary of the barriers seal, to pass beyond to reveal.

Where no one has trod, to reach out and touch the face of God.
