Beyond the filters

I am an individual

I have my stories and I have my secrets

I have a past and I have a future

But what makes me different than the girl I sit next to in biology?

Without filters on my photos, you would see the same girl you see with the filters

You would see a happy college student enjoying these memorable years of her life

A daughter who treasures her parents

A sister who would give her life for her brother or sister

A friend who cherishes the relationships in her life

A girlfriend who believes in forever

An aunt-to-be who is overly ecstatic to meet her beautiful niece

A life guard learning how to be responsible

A future nurse who is exhilarated to make a difference in the lives of children

I am unique in black and white

I am joyous in the sierra filter

And I am extraordinary with no filter
