Beyond the flesh

Philippians 3:3           New English Translation

3 For we are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, exult in Christ Jesus, and do not rely on human credentials.

Worship in spirit to Spirit, what an unusual marvelous thought

But how you know that one worships? Is that secret hidden in time?

Rejoice in spirit to Spirit. A presumptuous treasure-filled thought.

Can it be done while grieving in search for perfection that’s thine?

Singing in spirit to Spirit as no sounds reaches towards the ear

But how to worship in silence and show appreciation to the Sublime

Living in spirit to Spirit. A perpetual obsessive desire for an altar call

For me to grasp the impossible while anchored in a space that’s mine
