Beyond Insecurity
She looks in the mirror and what does she see?
A girl with a lot of insecurity
Her thighs feel thick and her stomach feels fat
and she believes nothing will ever change that
She is tired of being uncomfortable in her skin
but her inner thoughts always take over and win
She says "I am tired of loosing this war"
and she's exhausted of feeling that life is a chore
She longs to reach for happiness again
and to learn to accept her body as her friend
