Beyond the pearly gates

Come to the golden gate. Meet my savior face-to-face. He'll take me by the hand & lead me to the promise Land. I will see him, bathed in marvelous light, the good I've done will be his delight. He will say "Welcome my child, you did well. Say hello to heaven & goodbye to hell". Onward we go, passing rivers of crystal & streets of gold. Tears I can no longer withhold. As I sob in awe & delight, lost loved ones I see in clear sight. I run, run with all my might. Running to see those I cried over every night. I must go now, for happines awaits, awaits for me beyond the peary gates
