Beyond the Sea

My dear husband,

I hope you are doing well

It's a shame we got married a week before

You deployed

As I'm writing

This poem

Tears fill my eyes

I miss you so much

If I were stranded on an island

and only had one person

to bring with me

It would be you

You were there since

I got kicked out

Of my parents home

We both overcame

so many obstacles together

With you

Nothing is impossible
