The sun no longer exists
Silent moon now in her place
The brilliantly bright blue
Dimmed to dismal dull darkness
The whimsical clouds of pure white
Dispersed into angry sheets of fog
The world slumbers, eyes closed
Drifting to the land of dreams
All is still all is quiet but one
She sits waiting for sleep to come
Unaware that it is far from her
Because sleep takes over the body
Encases the soul, fills the heart
And puts the brain in a deep slumber
Sleep evades her, because her brain ponders
Her soul encased in thought
Her heart filled to its maximum
He's on her mind, fills her heart, has her soul
The love she has for him will never fade
A silent tear slides down her face
Her lover no longer resides on this earth
He's gone, drifting above alongside angels
He watches from the heavens and his soul aches
He misses her, more than the heavens can imagine
Soul mates forever till time ends
Death will not be the end of their love
She walks to her window and looks to the heavens
She see's his face in the stars, in the clouds
Hears his smile in the blowing wind
Just once, she wants to see him, touch his face
From the heavens, he reaches for her
From the windowsill, she reaches for him
Stretching their hands as far as they can bear
Just a few more feet, so she stands on the balcony
His spirit spills over the clouds breaking the laws of heaven
Just a few more inches now she can almost feel him
Seconds before their fingers touch, but her balance begins to fade
Gravity takes effect her body plummets slowly to earth
The moon no longer exists silent sun now in her place
The dismal dull darkness changes to brilliantly bright blue
angry sheets of fog now whimsical clouds of pure white
The world is now awake, eyes open, drifting back from the land of dreams
All is loud, all is alive but one, her body lays broken on the asphalt
Happiness finally encaptures her soul, mates till the end of time
Tick...Tock...Tick...(Silence) time itself has ended
