Beyond Wakanda

Quite equipped we are to deliver a unique culture

Quite able we are to offer the unique diversity

Quite prepared we are to show how far

From real is your image of our heritage

Guided by rules and laws through generation

Borders and barriers don’t exists: one nation

Shades differ yet prefer to refer as singular

Hue used beyond damage delivered back stage

Savage is our way they say

Today I can say

The greatest only had to export

Their values

Their thoughts

Their ways

Their diversity

Their singularity

In essence the whitewash squashed us

The wicked transatlantic journeys pillage pilfering

Of land and ore and garden and sapien

Centuries of daylight robbery

Then the drunken scramble disregarding history

Each sculptured in limestone to the sculpture

Shattered and smashed wedged to disadvantage

Infiltrate our worship

Infiltrate our hierarchy

Infiltrate our mother tongue

Infiltrate our divine sustenance

Infiltrate our thought

As we discard millennia of identity

Striving along for basic equality

Yet they degrade our humanity

Irony wicked funny

So we head home to recover

Set about to discover

This land and its people

Proven beyond doubt the cradle

From where sapien came from

Sandy beach Sierra Leone River No. 2

Crisscross over for a dip in Lake Tana Ethiopia

Keep it clean green Kigali

See history Timbuktu Mali

Vast spread of nature

Creative you see colours in splendid mixture

Hard soft lazy tongues

Differ on what is your right and my wrong

So today we say come see the offer

As we change the narrative at this stage we tear the page and the page before it is a new chapter

Wise Conscious Sane

We deliver in different dishes slices pieces to this puzzle

My Home

My Heritage

More spiritual than geographical

Africans we are

We come from Africa
