Bible Told Me So

The moon dropped its light onto my face

It fell at a heavy pace

The boys passed by on their motorcycles

Holding up their loaded riffles

The shots went off sending signs

Those were the golden times

The fire rushed through my soul

Because thats the way he told me so

I trusted him because that's all I had

Didn't trust the future had no past

The motel sat across the road

You could see the girls selling their broken souls

The time never stopped

I had control and broke the screws on the clock

finally I felt free

I was the person I was ment to be

Riding through the open air

Wathcing while their big eyes starred

Im in love with the life of a broken soul

Because the bible told me so
