Big and Small

To think things are so small

We act like we are big and tall

As we let things come and go

Walk by others and see their woes

If there was only one to see

The world could be brighter by thee

I want to know what can be helpful

to show the people what it is to be special

And to the things that brought joy

To walk the streets and see a broken boy

This world plays along like a slow piano

Watching, observing people move slow tempo

To think things are so small

We act like we are big and tall

As we let things come and go

Walk by others and see their woes

The pain, the hurt, the anxiety

This place, a broken society

Put on a fake smile

So no one sees it worth while

There is only one thing to fight

Only one thing to bring my spirit to flight

The feeling of caring and love

Just like the sign of a precious dove

To think things are so small

We act like we are big and tall

As we let things come and go

Walk by others and see their woes

To know the feeling of affection

Bring so many to attention

To hit all the senses at once

You put me in a spot to make a choice

The only thing I want is happiness

And YOU, you bring me out of the sadness

Now finally I get to see

What the good in the world is to me
