Big Bad Wolf

I’ll huff and I’ll puff

And I’ll blow your house down!

The damage has been done, the pig on the ground

Bruise on her face, the colors of her night gown

The dark of the night is shrouding her

The tears she cries are drowning her

She lays homeless and beaten

Abandoned, forgotten, and mistreated

This is not a fairy tale, by now, you must know

This really happens and the abuser is the wolf

And her self-confidence he has blown

As she lays in the darkness, with no home
