"big brother"

i was under the blankets

crying

when you walked in

i tried to hide it

but you knew

i was anxious things would change

you said things would go back

to normal

then you took my stuffed puppy ,

"you take care of her

for me"

i laughed

but suddenly felt safe

knowing i was protected

by you.

voiceless except in pieces

When I think, I only get little pieces and I think of those pieces as puzzle pieces. There's no full picture or solution until all the pieces fit together.
