A Big Full Moon

A big full moon shines bright in the sky

at the crack of dawn, the sun is being shy.

The morning is here, but everyone's asleep

most alarms, minutes away from the awakening beep.

The first one up turns on the light

as does the sun, the world is now bright.

As it shines beautiful shades of pink, yellow, and red

people begin to rise from their warm cozy bed.

Some start their day with a shave, a shower too

some drink tea of their favorite brew.

Off to work, a drive into town

till the day is done, and the sun goes down.

Back to their beds the people go

the moon is back for another show.

A big full moon shines bright in the sky

at the crack of dawn, the sun is being shy.
