Big Picture

The big picture looks different to each person,

Meaningless details to me are key to another.

Problems are converted to poem to better, not worsen,

And for poets to communicate artistically with each other.

Poetry is a product of the mind,

So the focus of a poem can tell you much.

Writing is a way to convey our struggles and unwind,

Revealing the poet’s priorities, conflicts, and such.

By reading poetry, empathy and perspective can be gained,

Allowing the poet’s burden to be waned.
