A baby girl emerging to the world
Soon voices rang with one word
Big Sister
For twelve years as the only one
the world appeared to rotate around me
My entire world changed when she arrived
This miniature human was my sister
It only took a second
Maybe a millisecond
I had to be a role model for her
I had to discover how to be a role model
You may say, this is too fast
But to me, it felt like a millennia
