The Big Spoon

Because I love you,

you'll never be alone.

Everything we buy is for

the both of us to own.

We'll eat snacks

and watch cartoons.

Maybe, sometimes, ill let

you be the big spoon.

We'll cherish eachother,

for the rest of our days,

our vows will be testament,

to the love we have made.

Ill never forbade your pursuit of

fulfillment,

be sure that my character remains

also resilient.

Life only goes forward, never in reverse,

and so too does our love, never for the worse.

We'll help eachother grow,

for the sake of our wellbeing,

Because I love you so,

and our future is worth seeing.
