A big white hat

Ecclesiastes 7:3 New English Translation (NET Bible)

3 Sorrow is better than laughter,
because sober reflection is good for the heart.

Big white hat … kind of comical

A little boy with the big white hat … Aren’t you a cute one?

A big man with a little mind … a real pain in the ass

Give me a little boy at that …to help me see my duty

But the big one won’t be mine … he’s out of my class

A child a simple gift …from God our Father

An adult just a reflection … of boiling depravity's steam

Spiritually truly fit … the children seldom bother

But the other just frustration … of the ugly and mean

The moral of this nonsense … as I gaze in the mirror

Is in this place of comfort … for the restroom is so dear

So in this world of pretense … I see self there in horror

As I can ill afford … to neglect the pot’s presence here

Go sit on it …
