This Big World

I'm only a teen in a big world, how can I make a difference?

Be a therapists, an activist, be a firefighter!

They may not get paid enough, but someone

has to do the job don't they?

I could do community service, help out at a shelter...

But what do I know, I'm only a kid

I'm a kid in a big world, where there's hate

There's pain, hurt, injustice to people all around the world

But there's also light, there's love, and there's peace

Even in the midst of war there's always something there

There needs to be change, a change in the way we

talk, the way we act, beacuse it matters, and it shows.

If we could spread the niceness, the love, the peace, maybe

this world has a chance

Maybe, just maybe, the world will make ot and so will I

I will find a way to make my existence known

To have people know I am willing to put forth the effort

to make change for the future generations

That is my vow not only to myself, but to this world

        Sincerley,

                            Me
