Biodiversity is Everywhere
Biodiversity is everywhere,
in the water and in the air.
In the plants and in the trees,
and in creatures like you and me.
All colors, shapes, and sizes,
differences that make them all special.
The water here is very clear,
with lily pads and frogs that leap.
In the woods among the tall trees,
tiny animals are nestling in deep.
Across the plains as the breezes blow,
tall grasses sway and the bunnies burrow.
Then there is the desert all sandy and hot,
where lizards scurry and water is scarce.
Towers of ice and snow is everywhere,
where polar bears growl and penguins clown.
Rain, rain everywhere in the trees and in the air,
the toucan laughs and the sloth seems to disappear.
Across all this natural beauty there is a black path,
this path leads to a well-lit place that we all know and feel safe.
There are many towers of concrete,
Asphalt paths and creatures so unique.
Short or tall and in-between,
all shapes and sizes explain you and me.
Different faces, different races,
different talents, different genes,
we all live together, in one diverse scene,
The Earth, full of diversity, as you have just read,
can be an amazing place so respect, enjoy, and dream.
