Biography of A Dreamer
She was dense.
Between The Novels of pain placed upon her chest.
Or The thoughts in her brain packed in like a Manhattan bound 4 train, at 9am.
As heartless as she tried to be she was solid with emotion, If she exploded
it would look like eastern park way post Labor Day
Yet so easily, she was thrown away,
to the side.
As if she were weightless.
worthless.
A feather from a pigeon,
An unlucky lottery ticket, drifting across the pavements surface, or some weeds throughout the ocean.
When she looked at herself she felt worthy.
She found inspiration in her words
She saw promise in her ideas.
She had value, and sometimes courage.
In an unpatient world
She felt that no one would take the time,
To peel back the layers of her soul
And see inside her mind
But like a lost treasure
She'd continue to shine
Beauty and pain perfectly intertwined.
