Landen....

Funny, Caring, Courageous, and Athletic, Lover of basketball, my friends, and my family,

Who felt sad when I lose, frustrated when I mess up, and determined to work harder when something goes wrong,

Who has been to California, Kansas top 20 basketball teams, and lived on the streets of Wilmington, North Carolina,

Who needs love when I’m alone and hurt, friends to always have my back, and Jesus Christ to get through life,

Who fears letting my teammates down, who fears getting stung by wasps, and who fears losing my friends if I screw up,

Who gives advice to younger kids, who gives up my time to get better in basketball, who gives time to those who need it,

Who longs for advice in basketball so I can improve, who longs for true friends so when something happens I know they are there, who longs for love so I know someone cares for me,

Who would like to see my brother grow up and succeed at everything, who would like to see my family stay safe from the world, who would like to see how far I can get in basketball if I try my hardest,

Fearless. I am Landen

I hope others are encouraged to write about who they are inside, and makes friends with others who can encourage them.

My favorite part of this poem is how I've grown to understand I, like everyone else, needs the love of your family and your closest friends to succeed in life, and for me the love of Jesus Christ, since I am a strong Christian. I hope evryone has a close friend, and especially a family who loves them.

This Biopoem defines who I am as a person, and has helped me to gain confidence in myself as I live in the world around me and make decisions about where I can most make a positive impact on other people's lives. I think before you can start helping others, you ned to look within yourself and challenge yourself about who you are and what values you have decided to make your own. I hope my Biopoem helps others do the same.
