Bipolar

"Touched with Fire" - an intriguing title to a book, then a movie both deal with a thin line- that hairsbreadth between madness and art genius and frenzy... It is a plunge into a fever ( a fury) and then a lifting, a heady euphoria it is a bipolar dance, the darkness of duende the dizzying rush of composition... It is squeezing and extracting that volatile juice- a juice sweet as pain bitter as joy which is distilled as nectar - as poetry's flame.
