Bipolar I's life
Whats it like being bipolar? The ulitmate question with endless answers. Being Bipolar isn't a walk in the park its more like a ride on a rollar coaster. Everyday is an endless aray of mood swings and thoughts. Why am I Bipolar, I ask myself this everyday and come up with the answer " I don't know". Its really a creditable answer, if you ask me. How has Bipolar I effected my life? Well thats a packed question. Being Bipolar has effected my mental health, family life, friendships and self- image. My mental health is obvouis since Bipolar I is a mental illness, I've had a lot of trouble with my brain. I've gone through suicidal stages which still come and go, ending me up in the psyhciatrict unit of a hospital three times so far. My family has chnaged their outloook on me and shelter me consistinaltly, I feel as if I cannot breathe sometimes. My friends don't understand me and my illness and it makes me uncomftarable to express myself around them. My self-image has changed considerably, I've become more outgoing; this is a positive among so many negatives. I've become more outgoing and know how to work with what I've got. "Having a mental illness does not define who you are", a saying I've heard many times. I know Bipolar I doesnt define me but it takes over a small portion of my life.
wake up thank someone youre still alive
get out of bed to walk like the dead.
walking and waiting for the day to end because you are your only bestfriend.
Bipolar I is not fun but I wouldn't be who I am without it!
