what are you ?

Chinese, Hawaiian, Puerto Rican

or Are you adopted ?

Adopted because I've never seen your father before

Adopted because it's just not common to see a black girl

with a white woman

Adoption to you

has to be the only answer

since the melanin of my skin doesn't match the woman I hold hands with

You're simple minded mind,

wouldn't understand that just maybe ...

My mom choose to be a single parent

because my “Sperm donor” told her to just

abort me

then you look at me and say

You’re a …

Bastard child *laughs*

And the only thing running though your mind

is I'm less than you

maybe because you have both parents

Both parents who are the same melanin has you

but it’s okay

my “White” mother won’t settle for abortion

So NO!

I am not adopted

I might just be a bastard child

But I am white and black

the melanin of my skin may not be the same has the women i hold hands with

but the DNA .. the DNA that runs though my blood

matches her

So

next time before you fix your mouth to ask me

what am i …

THINK before you speak
