Like A Bird

If I can describe myself in one word it would be dreamer.

When I was little I dreamt of being a bird so I can fly

those long summer nights, while the sky is turning violet and gold.

Seeing the shifting colors remind me of painting,

selectively choosing a color that will best suit your master piece.

Drawing and sketching bring me a peace of mind while the world is in a constant buzz

like a humming bird.

Still as I grow I don’t want to lose myself in the world

I still want to express my creativity by designing buildings to stay grounded

but at the end my goal is to reach for the skies.
