The Bird

I saw a white bird in the sky Flapping it's wings it doth fly But then a storm cloud appeared in it's way Forcing the bird to decide wether to brave it or fly away At first I thought it'd turn back Away from the storm and on safe land But then the bird shocked me For it chose to rush in without a backward glance It flapped it's wings and glided Through the air when it needed It fought through the harsh winds Until it reached the storm's end The battle was hard and harsh But in the end the bird won For it chose to believe in itself To trust that it could brave it on I was amazed and in awe At what I just saw And with a smile in my face I turned and walked away
