Bird House
Let me invite you to my bird house
High up on the tree top
Where the rain can’t flood our windows
Just a few drops can reach us
Oh friend, dry your wings off
We can dance the night away
Once again, we can meet up
and forget the rotten days
Leave the red brick house
It might not be as sheltered
But you’re safe here with me
Let me invite you to my bird house
We can watch the day away
No need to take the long way home
My bird house’s at every tree top
Let me invite you to my bird house
To some it might just be a hole
but to us, it is our home
