I am the bird of the weeping
willow. I whine and sway
I cry at bay.
I toss, I turn; I yearn, I wish.
And whisper to plead,
set me free from the swaying,
the willow that whispers.
I wade and lean
Falling, falling, falling and fly
Wait, I cry behind my
Weeping willow.
No. Tonight I will fly.
Wind whipping to spread my wings
of love of hope of waking my dreams
I sing my song a singer sings
The song of the bird of the weeping
willow. Welcomed and awoken,
washed of the whispers, the wicked
laws that wound around me like
binds to my saddened willow.
Tonight I fly free, I fly for me.

I love the repitition of this piece and I love the way I can hear it in my head. The structure definitely gives way to what the melody of the poem is. Beautiful.
