Birds


I don't think birds realize how blessed they are.

They are born with wings:

the very instrument that so many humans crave.

Yes,

it is true,

we have legs.

But legs were never meant to take us on journeys of migration whenever the weather becomes unbearable.

Legs were not meant to take us across oceans on a whim.

Legs are not made to fly;

And even when we fly,

it is still not as graceful as any bird I've ever seen.
