The Birds and The Bees

I write this poem for the birds and the bees

The birds and the bees that sing in the trees

And as the wind carries their sweet melodies, I write this poem for the birds and the bees

The birds and the bees that fly up so high, have no intention of coming down.

They hear the noisy city sounds, as they flap their wings around

At a pace they fly, a harmonious one: to keep their rhythm going

Continuously flying together, as their love it keeps a growing

And by their side, the one who guides, and holds them up in the sky

The Lord himself: gracious as he can be
