Birds and the Bees

Birds chirp

Fawns slurp

Beautiful sounds of a fresh start

A wondrous part

Of the year

We hold dear

The nights

And the longer lasting light

World in new

Skies of blue

Sweet, simple drops of rain

Spilling into the drain

Wind, blowing by

The air saying hi

To new faces of flowers

Buzzing, droning

Sleeping bees moaning

Awake

For the sake

Of the colony

Audibly

Ready for the New World of Spring
