Birds and Trees

Birds and trees, Flowers and breeze; These things remind me of you. The way you smile, Your charming style; Your beautiful laugh, Your studious half; I love them all, I do. If the world were robbed Of your presence, Oh what, oh what, Would I do? I would fall to my knees, And beg the earth, “Please! Bring her back to me!” But if this should fail, I would not derail In my quest of finding you. In fact I would run, Right into the sun, If I thought it would bring me to you.
