The Birth

Conceived from the mind and heart
It was mental foreplay from the start
Dreams and Nightmares was the stimulant
It stirred the pool of imagination in an instant
The Brain got the message from the prophet Imagination
The Id and Ego wanted to interpret this information
Emotion became the driving force
The mind and heart came to guide its course
The Will pushed the mind to give it birth
This is how the poem greeted the Earth
