The Birth of Love

The time soon approaches
as it does each and every year
to find a new way to surprise you
with an avalanche love so dear

When I gaze into your eyes
I see paradise beyond belief
you've set my heart a blaze
on this day you came to be

Will wonders never seize
as GOD sent an angel my way
with every ounce of love within me
to extend an extraordinary gifts display

On the table you'll find two dozen roses
and this scarlet letter I wrote
a bottle of Moscato Puglia Zonin chilling
to wet and tickle our throats

Getting older growing wiser leaving nothing to chance
your birthday's a perfect time to spell the word romance
With each breath and beat of my heart this gift can surely be yours
the ultimate blessing to share one's life
my love is now bestowed

Bon Anniversaire
