Birth of a Star

Surrounded By a nebula of doubt I’ve hidden there Remained invisible Hoping no one would see Who I am But I’m tired of that No longer will I hide I’m ready to be seen It has taken time For my star to be born But it’s time to shine To give my light to others When I’ve got a lot to give A lot I need to share Escaping the insecurity Wasn’t easy I’ve never been so exposed I’m not like the other stars But it’s worth it I’ll be okay I want my star to shine
