Birth of a World

Humans possess remarkable power.

The phenomenal gift to create.

With enough drive and even an hour,

One can construct worlds that are truly great.

Creativity, that, I so adore.

A tool that tears my worries asunder.

A retreat from the things that I abhor.

A tool to fill the mundane with wonder.

Poetry, a novel contraption,

And dazzling worlds found in fictional works.

All are birthed from the imagination.

It gives live to our world, for all its quirks.

Imagination, always my stalwart.

My oasis in a scorching desert
