Birthday

The day after the graduation

6/10

Visited the best friend at a college house

Got to catch up and had a spontaneous time

11 o'clock

Was told to close my eyes

Was she going to pull a trick? What was happening?

Still heard people talking, music playing in the background

Open your eyes now, she said

Dark night, one candle on a cake

Everyone with big smile, all sang, "Happy Birthday"

Make a wish, she said

Overjoyed, I made a wish.

6/16

I turned 18.
