Birthday Love

If a poem is all I can give you, then a poem is all you will get. If love is all I can supply you with, Then love is all you will recieve. I cannot give you any more, but I surely cannot give you any less Of the love I supply you with. I hope that it is love that you feel whenyou read this, For it is love that is implied. Day to day I can feel your struggle, To see what I have stored inside. I will tell you all my secrets, As long as you tell me yours. I promise you won't like some of mine, But, then again, I probably won't lie yours. This poem is my gift to you, On the 28th day of April. It is my way to say I Love You, And also a Happy Birthday too. I know it has no rhyne scheme, But I hope you can see the meaning. I'll love you when we are parted, So keep this poem as a memory.

I know it is not advanced, but it came from the heart.
