Birthday poem

BIRTHDAY POEM

this particular day is supposed to make you feel special.

but this specific day also teaches you a lesson.

everybody saying they gone show up, but you just have to wait and it leaves you guessing.

hoping that everything is going to go right and nothing but blessings .

but the day comes and now everyone is confessing.

like everybody didn’t already know the plans

and now everybody half stepping .

when all you wanted on this day is love and affection .

hoping that everybody you invited show up with no question.

now boom here’s the lesson,

never show up for people who didn’t show up for you,

Because on this special day  they didn’t even attend the special session .

but when it was vice versa you made it your mission

sitting in disbelief because you knew you should’ve followed your intuition.

birthdays show you who cares and who does not

but if it’s the second option, be opened minded about what the lesson that your birthday taught .
