A bit closer.

A fairytale might be
for some
beaches in Brazil
or for some
the Trevi in Rome

A fairytale might be
for me
in a hug from my Papa
or possibly
walking across a chilled river
in October

Though it's hard to talk about fairytales
when the world can be such a tough place to be.
If we may hold hands, please.

Maybe our world could become something closer.
Just a bit closer to a fairytale, it might be.
